What is Tea Time, exactly?

Tea Time is where five-ish strangers sit at a cafe with a Host to have a two hour conversation. It's not about anything in particular.

You're meant to know pretty much nothing about the people that come, aside from the fact that they all signed up for this — just like you. It's self-selecting in that sense.

However, it may bring you comfort to know a little something about your Host. If so, just keep reading

Meet your Host, Karina.

(It'll be helpful to know what they look like when you're looking for a group of confused strangers at the cafe.)

We're always on one journey or the other, and I'd love to hear about yours. Come grab tea?

What's your story?

I host tea times to learn about your amazing journeys - listening to your stories and random thoughts energizes me :) Born and raised in Bombay, lived in Philly, Boston and DC for work (with short stints in Pittsburgh, Kentucky and NY), and now call the west coast home.

Core beliefs: Love (also known as Kindness, Charity, Selfless Service) makes the world go around. We need more laughter and empathy, less debates and analytics. We are far more similar then we think. We can't love and judge at the same time.

My grandma is my favourite person on earth for her kindness, especially due to her ability to be goofy and wise concurrently (How does she do that?)

What might we talk about?

anything you'd like except politics

culture // journeys in spirituality // history // your favourite adventure // the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you // what do you hold most true? // kindness // empathy // why are we even here? // salsa dancing // your favorite city in the world // music // podcast discoveries // cooking adventures // interior decoration tips // economics // science // sushi // yoga // your favorite gym routine //
