Hey, I'm Michael!

I host tea time in Boston

Before learning our ‘inside voices’ my friends and I would get overly excited talking about random topics, resulting in us being ‘shh-d’ in a library, bar, Steak ‘n Shake, our dorm hallway (we were night owls), and a baseball game. Nothing’s better than hearing people talk passionately about topics they love!

What's your story?

Two Truths and a Lie:

∙ I’ve medaled in Irish dancing competitions

∙ I once ruined a Model UN in grade school

∙ I have tied (and used) my own belaying harness

I couldn’t start this with a lie, they’re all true! I love hearing people’s stories. Mine started in Ohio, moved over to Connecticut, and now I’m up in Boston. Moving isn’t foreign to my family (that pun will be funnier in a sentence). My mom is first generation, with her parents hailing from the British Isles. Every visit to the grandparents’ house meant tea and stories, and I’m glad to continue the tradition!

What might we talk about?

Why have we stopped playing playground games? What's the best view of the city (for each city)? Are there other real world onomatopoeias besides a sailboat’s Boom? When do you become an 'adult' (do you)? What was the last thing to make you laugh out loud? If a wedding 'Goes off without a hitch', did it go poorly? What's the difference between an immigrant and ex-pat? What's the most outlandish item left on your bucket list? What can you do right now to make your life 2% better?
